There must be a wealth of material which various past members of staff have up in their lofts, photo albums and shoe boxes that others might enjoy! Since the demise of SLH, as far as I am aware, there is no central collection pot for all the memories, images and videos taken over the years of life at the hospital. I'm sure it would interest most to have some sort of momento of the past using modern technology. With that in mind, this is my attempt to rectify the situation.

But I need your help.

If you have any photographs, video, documents that you feel would be of interest and suitable to fit on either this Web site or a DVD, then I'd like to hear from you.

Your items will be returned to you in their original condition after being scanned/transferred to computer. Or you can email
them to me, (with the exception of large videos !!! ) The kind of thing I'm looking for: Photos and Video footage of the grounds, buildings,Social club events, etc. Documents surrounding life at St Lawrences, ( i.e. old Membership cards, Certificates, posters, etc)

Items such as old keys, badges, etc.

Information regarding routines, shift patterns, meals, social occasions, memories, etc.

Corrections or added detail to anything on the site.

What I DO NOT want are images of Patient's or related
material.

If you can help out, you will get an acknowledgement
on the Website/DVD or remain anonymous if you so choose.

So based on some response, this site might turn out to be an interesting stroll down
memory lane. A DVD of St Lawrences Hospital might also be in the making.
